OVERVIEW

Located in the dynamic town of Taos, NM, the 156 room Sagebrush Inn and Suites is situated on 10.5± acres and has a unique and distinctive physical plant that can be utilized in a variety of fashions by any new owner.

According to TripAdvisor, “Taos is one of the few year-round resort communities in the United States with something to do every day of the year, including outdoor activities that vary by season.  The days are generally sunny and the humidity is just about non-existent. The clear mountain air allows you to see vistas 70 to 100 miles away on a normal day”.  Located approximately 7,000 feet above sea level, Taos’ climate is exceptional: an average of 300 days of sunshine annually; moderate temperatures in the summer with the 90 degree range being the hottest with very low humidity; and winter’s coldest temperatures hovering around zero degrees. 

There are four distinct building elements that include the original vintage Sagebrush Inn, a free standing large conference center, condominium units, and a former Comfort Suites.   • 77-unit “vintage” Sagebrush Inn that initially opened in 1931 with 17 rooms and has been slowly expanded over the years.
  • A free-standing Conference Center with a 9,000 square-foot ballroom divisible by two, three breakout rooms, and full banquet kitchen. This ballroom, coupled with other meeting spaces totaling nearly 12,700 square feet, represents the largest meeting space facility in Taos.
  • 20-unit condominium building with indoor hot tub. These 720-square foot units have one bedroom, two full baths, and a murphy bed. Some units have kitchenettes. As of 2017 all of these units have been bought back by previous ownership and placed into rooms inventory.
  • 59-unit suite hotel building termed the Annex with 422-square foot studio units. This former Comfort Suites has been integrated into the operation of the Hotel. This building is adjacent to the Vintage Sagebrush Inn with a common interior access drive.
  • Other facilities include a full-service restaurant, lobby bar with entertainment and outdoor patio seating at the Sagebrush; an outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi as well as a small fitness room at the Annex; indoor hot tub in the condominium building; and an outdoor hot tub and two bocce ball courts at the Sagebrush Inn.
